The park is named after the seven peaks located throughout here that are shaped like the Big Dipper constellation. Amongst the peaks are several explorable caves, including "Seven Star Cave", which are quite famous for having stalagmites, stalactites and other natural formations that resemble animals and landscapes.

Coming close to the Erlang Gorge, a huge cliff comes into view. This is the famous "Picture Hill" that resembles horses of different colors in different positions.

One kilometer to the south of the Big Banyan Tree, there lies the Moon Hill. On the upper part of the hill, there is a round through cave which looks very much like the moon when it is against the blue sky.

Shangri-La, a beautiful landscapes kingdom of Guilin, is located not far away Yangshuo (by bus fro ten minutes) along Guiyang Road. Just like a naïve maid, it is naïve and natural.

The cave extends 12km, but only the 3km nearest the river has been explored to any large extent. The cave is protected by scheduled closures to protect its unique qualities from crowds and other inadvertent damages. Stalagmites abound inside the cave making grotesque and imposing shapes that lead people into a fairyland. The deepest spot is over 10 meters.

Gudong Forestry Scenic area

The forest area covers about 1000 acres and features primitive forest areas. The ancient trees grow extremely high. Red maple is attractive. It is the closest waterfall to the city and also a good place for mountain climbers and hikers.

The performance named Folk Song Festival of Liu Sanjie (the Third Sisters of Liu)-Beautiful Lijiang River is held in the Natural Theatre, Yangshuo., China.Located at the joining point of Lijiang River and Tianjia River, the theatre faces the widely-known Scholar's Page Hill across the river.
